acg

What this site keeps about you, which is very little.

This covers adhitchandy.com and Two Readings (two-readings.acg.pictures). I'm Adhit Chandy George, I run both, and I'm the one responsible for what happens to your data here. Write to me at mail@adhitchandy.com about anything on this page.

The Short Version

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no ads. The fonts come from this site itself, not from Google. The only time you hand me anything is when you write to me.

Hosting

Both sites are served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver a page, Cloudflare's servers have to see your IP address and what your browser asks for, and they keep short technical logs to keep the sites running and safe from attacks. That is my legitimate interest in running a website at all (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare handles this under its data processing agreement, which includes the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU.

What Stays in Your Browser

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your browser remembers the choice in its own storage, so the next page doesn't flash the wrong colours. The pages also note, for a few seconds, which picture you just opened, so the next page can continue the animation. Neither leaves your device, neither is sent to me, and both exist only because you did something that asked for them.

Writing to Me

If you use the "write to me" form on About me, I get your name, your email address and your message, nothing else. They are used for one thing: reading your message and answering it. The legal basis is your request itself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you'd rather skip all of that, just email me directly.

Your Rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit what I do with it, object to it, or get a copy of it (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Email me and I'll deal with it. You can also complain to a data protection authority; mine is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub and other sites are plain links. Nothing from them loads here, and they see nothing until you click. Once you're there, their own privacy rules apply.
